We are happy to share that our graduate student researchers, Alexander Howard and Subah Soni, are going to the International Rice Research Institute in the Philippines for a Hands-on Training on Biotic Stress Resistance Evaluation.  

Additionally, our project scientist Maria Flor received the Young Scientist Award from the 2024 International Symposium on Rice Functional Genomics and will give a presentation at the event in Arkansas focusing on the engineering of rice root system architecture and exudate composition to optimize rhizosphere interactions.
